Trust Board Meeting, 30th April 2007

Minutes of previous meeting
Agreed the minutes of the previous meeting.
Treasurers Report
GC reported a draft of the accounts were received back from our accountant Mr. Speed and he had made some minor changes and comments on the accounts. The AGM should now be set for the end of June, beginning of July.
GC provided a monthly report of accounts.
Membership Update
No change: 484 – (108 founders, 320 new adults, 56 juniors). JP to hand over to BW ASAP.
Matters Arising
It was decided that BW would take over the membership secretary post and TC would take over the minute’s secretary post.
Discussed fans donations to the Trust and JP proposed that no cash donation to the Trust could be accepted without proper identification from the source/persons. This was agreed.
Also discussed that donations can be made to the Fans Forum donations account (held by the Trust) in the Trusts name. Agreed.
Discussed the proposed donation from the Trust to the Fans Fund Raising contribution to the RRFC. It was decided that the Trust will donate £8K towards the target of £30K which the fans groups committed themselves to raising. We expect shares in return for all the money that has been donated. Agreed.
The Trust is holding £2K on behalf of the Forum. BW will attend the next the Fans Forum on the 3 May and will recommend this £2K is not donated to the club but holds onto it and uses it for “seed” money for other projects e.g. interest free loans to buy stock for the club shop.
Raith Forum: Discussed a proposal by BW that the Fans Forum re-focuses activities into a fund raising group. And the forum group members be invited to attend Trust board meetings as equal partners to address issues.
Discussed the Fans Forum area in the South Stand concourse so that fans could discuss issues on match days. BW to raise this at the Fans Forum meeting.
SPL2: Draft report with JP and info will be passed to board members ASAP.
Community Group: TP reported the Twilight league is going well. TP also reported that the Coalfield Regeneration Trust require us to have a Child Protection Policy which was produced by TP and formally ratified by the board members.

TC proposed the Trust sponsor a bout (£150) at the Fans Forum Boxing Tournament event. Agreed.
The meeting closed at 21:45.
Date of next meeting
Monday 28th May 2007 – and with no progress made on a new venue and unless a decision is made, the next meeting will be held in the Novar Bar, Kirkcaldy.
