Play In The Team – Live The Dream!

Following the success of last year’s Football Aid game which allowed the ordinary supporter the chance to rub shoulders and play on the hallowed turf of Stark’s Park with former players such as Colin Harris, Cammy Fraser, Andy Harrow and Chris Candlish to name but a few, the event is back again, and this year’s Raith Aid “Dream Team” promises to be bigger and even better. The match takes place on Sunday 8th October, and kicks off at 2pm.

Anyone can take part, and all you have to do to book your place in one of the two teams is to make a bid on one of the jerseys for the game, with the price you pay determining your length of time on the field. Full games start at £75 and half games at £50 but you can guarantee your place by bidding the maximum (£200/£125) which will secure your place in this year’s “Dream Team” game.

Rovers Dream Team offers you the chance to fulfill a lifelong ambition to play at Stark’s Park. From the moment you arrive at the ground on match-day you’ll be given the full experience and for one day at least you’ll live the dream of being a professional footballer – albeit a badly paid one with dodgy knees!

A special auction site has been set up here where you can get further information and for you to place your bids. The Auction will end at 10pm on Wednesday 27th September and all winning bidders will be informed by the end of that week with payment being required to confirm your place in the team.
