Discussion of Sale of Stark’s Park

RRFC is now made up of two components; club and stadium Not enough information available to know whether the deal is a threat or not In the long term there is enough doubt about the security of tenure The Trust should explore the various options open.



Motions of the Meeting

Four courses of action were put in front of the meeting

Motion 1: To create a sub-committee to explore the possibility of protecting Stark’s Park by changing the land criteria in the local plan

Result: Carried Unanimously



Motion 2: To create a sub-committee to explore the option of buying all or part of Stark’s Park

Result: Carried by Substantial Majority



Motion 3: To create a sub-committee to explore the option of substantially increasing the shareholding in the club

Result: Carried by Substantial Majority



Motion 4: To organise a consultation exercise to discover the opinions of the general Rovers support and wider community in relation to the future of the club

Result: Carried Unanimously
