I am sure most fans have seen the news that Dave Somerville is stepping down as Chairman of the Football Club. The Raith Supporters Trust would like to express our personal thanks to Dave Somerville for what he achieved in his time as Chairman. The last few years have been a challenging time for all football clubs in Scotland and with his dedication to Raith Rovers and\u00a0his commitment and hard work, Dave has made a significant contribution. Most importantly of all Dave\u00a0recognised the crucial\u00a0role fans can play and he always worked constructively with the Supporters Trust and the Fans Director in his time as Chairman.\u00a0The economic climate means there are challenging times ahead\u00a0for all football clubs. The Supporters Trust will continue to work closely with the remaining Board members to help ensure that Raith Rovers has a healthy future as a true community club living within it’s means.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
