Some clubs hope to have a ten-team SPL2 in place by the start of next season and the six-strong working group includes 2 members from each SFL division. The SPL2 working group consistes of: Livingston Chief Executive Vivien Kyles; Dundee&#8217;s Dave McKinnon; Alloa director Mike Malraney; Ayr vice-chairman Mark Meehan; Queen&#8217;s Park committee member James Hastie; and Elgin director Derek Shewan.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Scotsman and Herald 15 Mar 07 &#8211; both reporting that the Alloa official website has stated that officials from several SFL1 clubs have indicated that SPL2 is not &#8220;the settled will&#8221; of all the SFL1 clubs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Scotsman 14 Mar 07 &#8211; &#8220;SFL clubs have set up a working group to explore the merits of launchung a second tier of the SPL.
