\nMinutes of previous meeting<\/strong>
\nIt was agreed that they were a record of the previous board meeting on 10 August 2013.
\nAction: AR to publish to website<\/p>\n

Matters Arising<\/strong>
\nAlzheimer\u2019s Project (AR) \u2013 volunteers identified and waiting for Disclosure forms. A trial event will be held in October.
\nRRFC Open Day (SL\/GC) \u2013 Event was a success and worth participating in.
\nAction: AR to follow up on Alzheimer\u2019s Project<\/p>\n

Treasurers Report<\/strong>
\nGC gave an overview of the current bank balances.
\n2012\/13 Accounts \u2013 waiting to be signed off by Independent Examiner.
\nAction: GC to provide accounts to November Board Meeting<\/p>\n

Membership Update<\/strong>
\nMembership currently stands at 196 with 39 previous members still to renew. Intend to target lapsed members specifically in midseason (Jan\/Feb) to see if they will renew.<\/p>\n

Raith Trust Communication Update<\/strong>
\nNewsletter given out a Dundee match and at Open Day. Next Newsletter around the Christmas and New Year fixtures.
\nGood coverage of the Triathlon fundraising.
\nConcourse notice board needs the lock replaced.
\nActions:
\nSL to draft December newsletter
\nAR to check lock on noticeboard<\/p>\n

Governance<\/strong>
\nRules and Documents \u2013 An update of the rules to bring them into line with recent legal updates will take place in time for the 2014 AGM. An initial outline of the changes will be presented to the 2013 AGM.
\nRRFC Board Election \u2013 Consultation will take place in 2014 with a view to having an agreed procedure for the next election.
\nBoard Membership \u2013 Female members of the trust will be contacted to get their views on current board representation.
\nActions:
\nJP to discuss adopting New Model Rules with Supporters Direct by the AGM in 2014.
\nJP to contact female trust members.
\nAR to make Raith Forum aware of consultation on Supporter-appointed Director.<\/p>\n

Policy Papers Update<\/strong>
\nLegacy proposal should be taken forward and implemented.
\nConsider what the Trust can do to encourage increased attendances.
\nAction:
\nAR & TC to speak to Kev Barretto about legacy giving.
\nJP to speak to Allan Traynor in regard to ideas in his board nomination paper.<\/p>\n

Events<\/strong>
\nThe successful quiz night raised over \u00a3500
\nNext event to look at is a Burns Night in January.
\nAction: SW to set date for Burns Night and find speaker.<\/p>\n

Raith Forum<\/strong>
\nForum groups have agreed that funds to RRFC will be contributed through the Trust.
\nSupporters Club shop \u2013 funds have been paid over.<\/p>\n

Date of next meeting<\/strong>
\nAs per the Board Meeting Calendar the next meeting will be a teleconference on an evening to be agreed towards the end of October. The subject will be Finance.
