Some further publicity might help.<br \/>\nAction: AR to speak to Alzheimer\u2019s Scotland.<br \/>\nSupporters Club shop \u2013 a report on use of Trust funds would be requested.<br \/>\nAction: AR to check with Supporters Club.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Treasurers Report<\/strong><br \/>\nNo reports was discussed.<br \/>\nActions: GC to provide report.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Membership Update<\/strong><br \/>\nRenewal notices have been sent out.<br \/>\nActions:<br \/>\nGC to arrange bank access for NR.<br \/>\nNR to arrange to reconcile renewals with bank statement.<br \/>\nDiscussion on organising a membership drive at the next board meeting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Communication Update<\/strong><br \/>\nNewsletter to be printed and issued at the upcoming home match against Rangers.<br \/>\nRoary Club sponsorship was getting some good coverage.<br \/>\nActions:<br \/>\nPrint and issue newsletter \u2013 SL\/NR<br \/>\nUse of noticeboards to be discussed at next board meeting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Events<\/strong><br \/>\nA pub quiz would take place on Thursday 25 September at Stark\u2019s Park.<br \/>\nBurns Night provisionally scheduled for 27th Jan 2015.<br \/>\nFife Libraries are holding an event to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the League Cup win on 27th November.<br \/>\nAction: Raffle prizes for quiz to SW.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Supporters Contributions<\/strong><br \/>\nThere is some discussion over changing the way supporters groups are charged for use of facilities at Stark\u2019s Park.<br \/>\nAction: AR to circulate date of next meeting of Raith Forum and try to get someone there to discuss.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Board Succession<\/strong><br \/>\nThere was some discussion over the future of places on the board and the response of the Trust to this.<br \/>\nAction:<br \/>\nJP to propose method of consulting with supporters.<br \/>\nAR to discuss wider issues at next Raith Forum meeting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Policy Papers Update<\/strong><br \/>\nLegacy proposal \u2013 no progress has been made.<br \/>\nFinance proposal \u2013 closed.<br \/>\nAction: AR to contact Colin Flynn about Legacy giving.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Governance<\/strong><br \/>\nRules and Documents \u2013 Update to be given at the AGM on rule amendments to be considered later in the year.<br \/>\nBoard Membership \u2013 consideration should be given to bringing new people onto the Trust Board.<br \/>\nActions:<br \/>\nJP to contact Supporters Direct in regard to new Model Rules set.<br \/>\nJP to contact Ann Brand to determine willingness to be part of the Trust Board.<br \/>\nBoard to ensure post can be picked up from PO Box \u2013 next board meeting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>AOCB<\/strong><br \/>\nRoary Club for junior Rovers supporters is running successfully with 270 members and a family day provisionally planned for the home match against Alloa.<br \/>\nAction: SL to arrange to invoice trust for start-up costs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Date of next meeting<\/strong><br \/>\nThe next board meeting will take place at noon on 25 October prior to the home match against Alloa, in The Boathouse, Aberdour.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Venue: The Boathouse, Aberdour Present: Tam Cunningham (TC), Steve Wallace (SW), James Proctor (JP), Niall Russell (NR), Steven Lawther (SL) &amp; Alan Russell (AR).
