{"id":2553,"date":"2019-12-07T19:54:00","date_gmt":"2019-12-07T18:54:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.raithtrust.org.uk\/?p=2553"},"modified":"2025-12-10T15:24:26","modified_gmt":"2025-12-10T15:24:26","slug":"trust-board-meeting-12th-october-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.raithtrust.org.uk\/?p=2553","title":{"rendered":"Trust Board Meeting, 12th October 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Venue: The Boathouse, Aberdour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Present: Colin Flinn, (CF), Steven Lawther (SL), James Proctor (JP), Alan Russell (AR), Andy Simpson (AS) &amp; Steve Wallace (SW)<br>Apologies: \u00a0Graeme Condie (GC), Graeme Baxter (GB)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Minutes of previous meeting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It was agreed that they were a record of the previous board meeting on 17 September 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Matters Arising<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Youth Season Tickets<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Club confirmed that all 200 youth and 40 adult and child subsidised season tickets had been purchased. This was achieved with the generous donation from the estate of Bill Powrie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given that 240 tickets were sold at a reduced price it seems unlikely that the club would have achieved this quantity of sales at the higher price they set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, there needs to be a discussion with the club over their youth ticket policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Trust Board to open discussion with club over youth ticket prices.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Treasurers Report<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>No report this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2018\/19 Accounts \u2013 Draft accounts with the Independent Examiner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AGM \u2013 Likely to be held in January, subject to approval of the accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Loan Notes \u2013 due to the changes in RRFC ownership the value of Raith Trust\u2019s shareholding is now zero and therefore Loan Notes were written down to zero to reflect this.
