The latest in the ongoing saga about Liverpool’s ownership. To me the target seems like a difficult one to reach – the article talks about 100,000 fans raising \u00a3500m, which would be an average investment of \u00a35,000 each – but I think the “Barcelona model” would be an interesting one to see at the top end of the English premiership. It certainly seems a lot more sustainable than chasing a succession of foreign investors in the hope that it will propel you back to the glory days of 25 years ago…<\/p>\n
