Minutes of the Teleconference<\/strong><\/p>\n Minutes of the Teleconference on the 27 April 2009 were agreed.<\/p>\n Matters Arising<\/strong><\/p>\n Action Point – AR<\/strong> to write to the other supporters groups to request their permission to add the Donations Account funds to the current fundraising campaign for the club\u2019s Youth Development Initiative – Completed.<\/p>\n Action Point – AR<\/strong> to write to the Loan Note holders to request that the Trust increase it\u2019s shareholding by buying shares with the outstanding balance in the Donations Account – Completed.<\/p>\n Action Point – JP<\/strong> to write a summary report of the last AGM – Ongoing.<\/p>\n Action Point – TP<\/strong> to contact the council\u2019s licensing department as a priority. (Beer Festival) \u2013 Completed. A meeting will be held with TP & AR attending.<\/p>\n Action Point – AR<\/strong> to contact IFF regarding a project on how globalisation affects communities – Completed. IFF to contact Supporters Direct.<\/p>\n AGM Action Points \u2013 AR, JP & BW<\/strong> – AGM 21 May 2009 Preparations \u2013 JP & BW to produce information regarding the AGM for the members\u2019 mail shot along with the following correspondence: AR\u2019s Loan Note shareholding request, Election nomination form ballot paper, membership details and accounts. AR is to produce a report on the Trusts year – Completed.<\/p>\n AGM Action Point<\/strong> \u2013 Motion from last AGM \u201cTo appoint auditors and\/or independent examiners\u201d. A vote will be taken on the night of the AGM \u2013 Completion at the AGM.<\/p>\n Treasurers Report<\/strong><\/p>\n GC provided an update and has a report prepared for the AGM.<\/p>\n Membership Update<\/strong><\/p>\n BW prepared a report for the AGM. Briefly: Trust membership stands at 199 members.<\/p>\n Fans Group Fundraising<\/strong><\/p>\n Fifes Finest raised \u00a31k from their 60s disco night and donated the funds to the club. The group hope to raise a further \u00a31K over the summer from other events.<\/p>\n The Beer Festival: planning in good progress, a date will be selected soon.<\/p>\n AR\u2019s Marvin\u2019s Believe tee shirt initiative raised \u00a352.<\/p>\n The Supporters Club dance raised \u00a33K.<\/p>\n Classic Tops sold 21 jerseys and raised \u00a3780, with 20 tops remaining unsold.<\/p>\n Fife Finest are keen to raise money with fans donating \u00a310. This due to the Rovers success and fans saving by not having to attend the second division play-offs.<\/p>\n Trust AGM<\/strong><\/p>\n AGM preparations:<\/p>\n AOCB<\/strong><\/p>\n GC proposed that the Trust congratulates the board, management and the players on the success of the team winning the second division championship. To be recorded in the minutes \u2013 agreed.<\/p>\n GC proposed that the committee have another Away Day before the season begins. To prepare budgets and other plans for the season ahead \u2013 agreed. The meeting will be on Sunday, 26 July 2009.<\/p>\n TC proposed that the artist Alex Burnett, who kindly donated the Rovers players\u2019 portraits to the Trust, be made an honorary member. This was agreed.
