A range of real ales and ciders, carefully selected by Jim Brande of the Fyfe Brewing Company, will be on sale on the Friday evening and during the afternoon and evening on Saturday, along with a selection of bottled beers, wine and soft drinks. All proceeds will go towards increasing the supporters\u2019 shareholding in Raith Rovers FC.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Included in the entrance fee of \u00a35 will be a commemorative beer glass and a festival programme with tasting notes for all of the ales and ciders on tap.<\/p>\n<p>The event will run from <strong>6pm &#8211; 11pm on Friday 2nd<\/strong> and from <strong>1pm &#8211; 11pm on Saturday 3rd<\/strong>. There will be musical entertainment, and more importantly match updates from Inverness!<\/p>\n<p>We hope that a successful weekend will make the Raith Real Ale Festival a fixture on the calendar for all real ale lovers in Fife, and that we will be able to convert a few real ale novices to the cause of \u201cproper beer\u201d!<\/p>\n<p>Anyone wishing to volunteer in making this event run smoothly should get in touch with the Trust at chairman@raithtrust.org.uk \u2013 we can\u2019t pay you for your time but we may buy you a beer \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Raith Trust will be holding a Real Ale Festival at Starks Park on April 2nd and 3rd 2010.
