Rovers Down South

Rovers Down South, who you may recognise as John McGlynn’s kit sponsor this season, are now expanding.

Recruiting supporters across England and Wales their aims are to:

  • Coordinate the efforts of the exiled community for the good of the club
  • See if they can help others to home games, if they can’t get there themselves
  • Promote the club however they can, and have a good time in the process

As well as sponsoring John McGlynn, with the help of the Trust they’ve also provided 40 tickets for kids and their carers for home games this season, and are sponsoring the match against “the medium team” on 20th March.

On the horizon is the London Fife Cup Final – a nail-biting 5-a-side contest against the cream of the London Pars in Woolwich, where the players who couldn’t get a game for the Rovers founded Arsenal!

Another date for the diary is Friday 27 November – a 15 year anniversary fundraiser celebrating our finest moment at a swanky London venue. The evening’s entertainment will include ex-players, Rovers cocktails, pies/stovies, raffles to win a host of Rovers memorabilia, replays of the run to the final and much, much more.

If you are a Rovers supporter or Fifer living in England or Wales (or know someone who is) please contact Rovers Down South at roversdownsouth@hotmail.co.uk or visit their facebook page.
