AGM 2003 Report

A successful annual general meeting was held in the Raith Suite at Stark’s Park on Thursday 29th May 2003.

Members who attended heard a presentation from Ken Foster (Cassandra Research) on the Fans Survey carried out by the Trust during the season. Lots of facts and figures were presented which led to a number of questions and some discussion on the facts raised and the way forward.

A presentation was also given by Collas Pilmer (co-opted board member) concerning work carried out by the sub-group on a business plan for Raith Rovers Football Club should the need eventuality arise. This was also well received and led to healthy discussion amongst the members.

This being the Trust’s first annual general meeting there were a number of formalities to undertake. The audited Trust accounts for the Period 1st October 2002 to 31st March 2003 were presented to members and approved.

Existing board members put themselves up for re-election and were formally accepted by the members. Blair White (Membership Secretary) indicated his desire not to re-stand and we thank Blair for all his hard work from the inception of the Trust to the success it is today. No members nominated themselves for election either on the night or by post or email.

Thanks to everyone who attended and to all those who assisted in making the evening a success.
