Trust says “We’ll romp it!”

With pre-season preparations complete – three wins (including one against SPL club Kilmarnock), a draw against Dundee United and a defeat on astroturf to Conference North side Southport, whose third goal was scored by one of the Rovers players they had borrowed for the match – the conversation while the Trust board arrived for their regular get-together last night was extremely positive.

Not only do we think the team are playing football good enough to get off to a flying start, one board member (who will remain anonymous just in case it all blows up in our faces) was very bold with his expectations for the league campaign, announcing to anyone who would listen that “we’ll romp the league this season!”

Fingers crossed, eh Blair?
