Raith Supporters Trust AGM, 24th November 2020

Apologies – Apologies were received from 12 members and proxies supplied by 10 members. 14 people were in attendance, the meeting was therefore quorate.

Welcome & Introductions

Trust Chairman, Alan Russell (AR), opened the meeting and welcomed the members.

Minutes of Previous AGM

No amendments were made to the previous minutes and they were AGREED.

Review of Past Year

The Trust continues to constructively engage with the club to put across the views of supporters and the wider community. This included working with other fans groups through the Raith Forum, underwriting the offer of paying back the balance of season tickets when Covid-19 ended the season early and subsiding the price of youth season tickets using a generous donation from the estate of the late Bill Powrie.

Overview of the Previous Years’ Accounts

GC referred members to the reports in the 2018/19 accounts and went over the Income and Expenditure account and the Balance sheet. The accounts for 2018/19 were AGREED by members.

GC then highlighted the Income and Expenditure account and the Balance sheet for the 2019/20 accounts. The accounts for 2019/20 were AGREED by members.

Proposal for Independent Examination

The proposal to conduct an Independent Examination of the accounts was AGREED by members.

Nominations to the Board

No nominations were received and existing directors agreed to remain in post.

Membership

CF discussed the move to an online membership system. This decreased the amount of admin time required and improved the ease of communicating with members. A membership drive will commence when fans are able to attend matches again.

AOCB

No other issues were raised.
