Trust Board Meeting, 20th April 2022

Attendance: Colin Flinn, Steven Lawther, Marie Penman, Grieg Porter, James Proctor, Alan Russell, Andy Simpson, Steve Wallace

Apologies: Graeme Baxter, Graeme Condie.

Trust Board

Noted that Andy Simpson had stood down as a director and that Marie Penman and Grieg Porter have been co-opted.

Election of nominated director

Dot Wilson has been nominated with 53% of the vote.

Steven MacDonald, RRFC Club Chairman, has been advised that, in line with previous agreements, Dot should be made a director of the club with immediate effect.

Reflections on the David Goodwillie situation

There may be a need to build a longer term alternative for RRFC. This could be public and involve the support/community.

Need to understand what the Trust’s role is in this and how members and the broader fanbase embraces that vision.

Threat to close the club is something that will concern all supporters.

AGM

Provisionally agreed for the AGM to be held on Tuesday 24 May online.

Notifications to be sent out to members by Tuesday 3 May.

Opportunity to state the situation and offer a way forward for comment by members.
