Andy Millar from the Killie Trust joined to discuss the progress of their Trust:

  • Used Go Cardless – charge £10/year membership – currently between 1,100 and 1,400 members
  • Used contact points around the ground to sign up members – better to have a focussed day – used social media blitz to raise awareness – most signed up before in the fortnight before sign-up day
  • Trust also run Killie Futures Fund in parallel – pays for fan-focussed ground improvements – voted on only by Trust members
  • Used credit card size card with QR code for sign-up
  • Fundraising events keep the profile up
  • Numbers increased through campaigns over the years – focus on supporter experience or facilities
  • 10 board members – sub-committees with volunteers – retired chair brings a lot of energy to this
  • Have new member meet-ups and regular member meetings
  • Use various social media to raise profile
  • Andy left the meeting
